AKUPUNKT-MASSAGE (APM) according to Penzel
- is a technique that uses a combination of massage and acupressure on the body, by using a specialised metal pen instead of needles. The pen is used to balance the body’s energy flow, through the vessels called meridians and their related acupuncture points. By balancing and transferring energy we encourage the body to self-heal. This technique is aimed to clear up the cause of an ailment, rather then symptoms.
Lymphatic Drainage and Lymphoedema Management
- is a very specific technique which works with flat hands, and using all the fingers to simulate gentle, specific wave-like movements. These subtle manual movements activate lymph and interstitial fluid circulation as well as stimulate the functioning of the immune and parasympathetic nervous systems.
