About Rene' and the clinic & college

Rene’, is an ex-professional athlete in Ice Speed Skating from Germany, and has worked in Remedial Massage Therapy and Healing since 1993. From being an athlete he realized the benefits of massage. So on his retirement he studied to become a qualified massage therapist in Mainz, Germany. He then continued to study other alternative treatments to enhance his abilities for treating and healing people with a large variation of problems.

He was introduced to Akupunkt-Massage according to Penzel (APM) through a Naturopath in Germany who said he had great results with this technique.

He has been using APM, very successfully, since 1996, and has a very busy, full-time, clinic in Sydney where he uses all his different techniques for treating his patients. Although APM is the most well-liked technique of his patients, due to the great results they get from it.

He received a license from the International College of Akupunkt-Massage according to Penzel in Germany, in 2005, to teach this technique in Australia and New Zealand.

Other techniques that he uses in his clinic are as follows:-   Remedial and Sports Massage; Lymphatic Drainage; Polarity Therapy; Reiki; Chinese Foot Reflexology; Stretching and Australian Bush Flower Essences.

Rene is a member of AMT- Association of Massage Therapists Ltd, and the Akupunkt-Massage according to Penzel course is accredited through AMT.
